A 270-bed, 510,000-square foot, replacement hospital. The facility consists of a 5-story patient tower, plus penthouses. A large 1-story ancillary area extends beyond the tower perimeter to give the first floor a footprint of approximately 268,000 square feet. The building is a steel-framed structure with a composite floor slab system and a lateral load resisting system of special steel moment frames. The first floor houses 12 operating rooms, a fully-equipped imaging department, and an Emergency Department with 2 Trauma, 2 Cardiac, and 39 Exam Rooms.
