Sustainable Design

SDG is committed to sustainable design practices, including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) design principles as demanded by many clients today in the development of high-performance, sustainable buildings. In addition, two of SDG’s Principals have earned the LEED Accredited Professional certification which recognizes competence in, and further demonstrates the firm’s commitment to Sustainable Design.

We have designed several projects that have utilized the LEED concept, including:

SDG has designed a number of Army facilities with LEED considerations including: a $76 million Barracks Complex at Fort Benning, a $34 million Barracks at Fort Bragg, a $25 million Special Operations Complex at Fort Campbell, and the $49 million Redstone Rotary Wing Hangar and Headquarters Facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
