A new 120-bed replacement hospital. The new facility includes a Physician Office Building (POB), Bed Tower, and hospital ancillary space. The completed hospital now has all private patient rooms, outpatient rehabilitation, a women’s center, a diagnostic cath lab, a full-service emergency department, ambulatory surgery services, imaging and a Central Energy Plant. Due to the substantial grade change across the site, the majority of the facility has a basement level. The basement daylights toward the southeast side of the facility. The ancillary area is a one-story structure above the basement level. The Bed Tower has a basement level and was designed for a maximum of seven stories above the basement level. The POB also has a basement level and is four stories above the basement level. This development is the second largest investment in Apopka’s history.
