Rankings are based on the number of local licensed engineers. SDG currently has 15 licensed engineers and 47 total employees. We’d like to share the news Lezlie Murray has joined her husband Paul in retiring from SDG.  Lezlie has been with SDG since the company's founding in 1999 serving as the firm's accountant. Lezlie's wisdom and calm presence, along with her experience and knowledge, have been invaluable to SDG over the years. We can't thank her enough for her 24 years of service and dedication. SDG is pleased to announce the addition of Sydney Reeder to our team of design engineers. Sydney received her M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of Tennessee and her B.S. in Civil Engineering from UT, where she graduated summa cum laude. Sydney previously worked as a structural design engineer and auditor with Ross Bryan Associates in Nashville, and with Cooper Steel Fabricators as a Project Manager.  ...

Paul Murray, one of SDG’s original founding partners, has decided to retire and transition to a Principal Emeritus role with SDG. Middle Tennessee State University broke ground Thursday on the school’s new Student-Athlete Performance Center — a $66 million facility to be built next to Floyd Stadium on Greenland Drive in Murfreesboro. Serving as the new home for the Blue Raider football team, the three-story, 85,500-square foot venue will also house athletic training, weightlifting and nutrition areas in addition to office spaces for coaches.
