The new convention center was built adjacent to and is connected to the Mississippi Telecommunications Center. The 330,000-square foot, multi-story, structural steel and poured-in-place concrete, convention center offers large column-free spaces with 90,000 square feet of multi-purpose exhibition space, and 30,000 square feet of conference/meeting spaces. Includes a 60,000-square foot exhibit hall, a 27,500-square foot ballroom, 12,000-square foot kitchen, and 10,000 square feet of meeting areas and breakout rooms. The exterior design on the building complements that of the Telecommunications Center with a glass curtain wall. Three main entrances serve the facility.
