A cutting-edge 233,973-square-foot multi-specialty ambulatory healthcare center that is integrated with the adjacent 150-key Brownwood Hotel and Spa, with 10,000 square feet of conference space, a multipurpose courtyard for meetings and events and a celebrity chef restaurant. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel offers a large kitchen to handle everything from catering to banquets to room service.

The “bedless hospital” will largely focus on outpatient procedures. A covered walkway connects the two, and patients of the 5-story medical facility will be able to use a discreet exit and quickly retreat to their hotel rooms, thereby avoiding a hospital stay.

The Center has more than 25 clinical specialties including oncology, imaging, ophthalmology, dermatology and plastic surgery, along with an ambulatory surgery and rehab surgery center. Other specialties represented include cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, general urology and rheumatology. A retail pharmacy and lab are also part of the facility. The first level of the specialty care medical facility incorporates a Walgreens retail pharmacy, lab, central registration, and an education and resource center to aid in the coordination of care for patients, as well as other complementary amenities. The multi-story building also houses physicians from The Villages Health, Lake Medical Imaging, Florida Cancer Specialists, St. Luke’s Laser Institute and Lake Centre for Rehab, among others.
