This new 112,000 square foot facility replaces an existing outdated building. This new structure, on Western Kentucky University’s main campus in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is a signature facility for Western Kentucky University’s campus, designed specifically for the programs contained within this college. The facility incorporates the latest classroom technology and an abundance of natural light throughout. Classrooms, conference areas, an auditorium, a media resource center, psychology research laboratories, faculty offices and clinic spaces are all included. Also includes outdoor social and learning spaces and features a classical architecture aesthetic. Awarded LEED Gold. Only the third LEED Gold facility to be built by a public university in Kentucky. The University’s forward thinking is evident all throughout this state-of-the-art facility. This new tool for learning combines the latest classroom technology with incredible energy efficiency creating the ideal environment in which to educate and invigorate generations of teachers to come.
